Peanuts
Peanuts are growing under the ground surface. The origin of the peanut is Southamerica; today we can find the nuts in all tropic- and subtropic zones of the world.
Peanuts are used in the Sweets-, Bakery- and Snackindustry; also for the oil-production. Peanut-oil is a very important ingredient of the worldproduction.
Around 2-4 kernels are covered from a thin, bright and brakeable shell. The peanut itself is covered by a brown skin.
The average fat content is about 50 % with a high share of unsaturated free fatty acids; carbohydrates are about 10%, proteins 30 %.
Peanuts have high shares of vitamin E, B1, B2 and B6. We offer blanched peanuts in different kinds of preparations, roasted typs are also available.
